The Faculty of Law, Humanities and the Arts is now offering Faculty Merit Scholarships (FMS) to eligible students commencing from 2015, joining the Faculties of Business and Engineering & Information Sciences which offer these scholarships. The FMS is for high achieving students and offers a 25% tuition fee reduction for the full duration of the recipient’s Bachelor degree.

By combining the FMS with an Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship (UES), which also offers a 25% reduction in the tuition fee, students applying to UOW have the opportunity of gaining scholarships with a total value of 50% of the tuition fee.

The UES is available in all Bachelor degrees except for those in the areas of Medicine & Surgery, Nursing, Nutrition, Dietetics, Exercise Science and Psychology. There is no quota on the number of UES awarded – as long as students meet the criteria they will be offered the scholarship automatically with their offer of admission.

The FMS is available to Bachelor degrees offered by the Faculties of Business, Engineering & Information Sciences, and Law, Humanities & the Arts. All students offered the UES will be automatically considered for the additional FMS and will be advised if they are successful when they receive their offer letter.
