The Cost of Attendance (COA) is provided as a guide when estimating the costs of specified programs at Pepperdine University, Seaver College. The COA is based on normal charges incurred by most students; however individual charges may vary based on the students choice of housing, meal plan, program of study, total units enrolled, and other miscellaneous items.
2016-2017 Cost of Attendance
Direct Costs
Direct educational costs include tuition, room and board, and a student government (SGA) fee. For the 2016-17 academic year, typical direct costs are as follows:

*An additional charge of approximately $2,373 for health insurance may be incurred if a student is not already covered by family or group health coverage. Additional miscellaneous charges/fees may be added to the student account as they are incurred by a student, for example - registration adjustment fees, private voice/music instruction, parking tickets, etc.
Important Note: The budgets listed above are the normal charges incurred by most students. However, individual charges may vary based on the student’s choice of housing arrangement, meal plan, and total number of units enrolled. All students should come prepared with cash or credit card to purchase their books. Books cannot be charged to your student account or purchased with your student ID card. Listed below are the costs for each individual item. Please contact your Financial Assistance Advisor to increase your Room and Board or Tuition cost, if applicable. Please see the Housing web site for additional information.
Indirect Costs
In addition to the University's direct costs, each student will incur indirect costs while attending the University. Listed below are the estimated costs for the academic year.

**Indirect costs include books, supplies, loan fees, transportation and personal expenses. These items will not be charged directly to the student account. Although individual expenses for indirect costs vary per student, the financial assistance budget includes the following amounts in determining the financial assistance award.
