Individual student budgets may be higher or lower depending on a student's program of study, courses enrolled, hours of enrollment, and/or on-campus residence hall.
Childcare, cooperative education program expenses, costs of a professional credential, study abroad, additional disability expenses, and computer expenses must be documented before being added to the student's budget.
Loan fees are not calculated in the average cost of attendance. For 2016-2017, the undergraduate loan fee is around $70.00 and the graduate and law loan fee is around $158.00. These numbers are based upon the average Stafford loan amount for the previous academic year per career.
Effective Fall 2016, an increase in tuition was approved, along with an increase in mandatory fees that equates to a 3.5% combined tuition and fees increase for Arkansas residents. The tuition and mandatory fee increase for non-resident undergraduates is 6.15%. Tuition and fees for graduate Arkansans increased 3.13% and the increase is 6.11% for out-of-state graduate students.
