Schools
Oregon Health & Science University grants the state's only doctoral degrees in medicine, nursing, dentistry, and health-focused engineering. Doctoral degrees in pharmacy are granted in partnership with Oregon State University. In addition, OHSU provides many specialized research programs unique to the region and educates master's-level, undergraduate and certificate students in a broad spectrum of health and information sciences.

1.School of Dentistry
The School of Dentistry offers a doctorate in dental medicine along with five advanced specialty education programs: endodontology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and periodontology.
The mission of the School of Dentistry and our patient care clinics is to provide the highest quality oral health care services while leading the region in oral health education, research and technology development.
We have a proud tradition of clinical excellence at OHSU School of Dentistry, and it continues in our state-of-the-art facility in Portland's beautiful South Waterfront. Our Skourtes Tower facility in the Collaborative Life Sciences Building houses both our School of Dentistry and our patient clinics, providing sweeping views of the city and an un-matched setting for education, research and exemplary oral health care.

The School of Medicine offers doctorates in medicine and philosophy, masters in science, public health and physician assistant studies and combined degrees.
The OHSU School of Medicine is a vibrant community of educators, students, scientists, clinicians and others working side-by-side to heal, teach, discover and serve. We are proud of our uniquely collaborative and collegial environment.
Our faculty is dedicated to preparing physicians, scientists and health care professionals for the responsibilities of their calling, while also providing outstanding care to patients from Oregon and elsewhere. The OHSU School of Medicine faculty is widely recognized nationally and internationally for the pursuit of new knowledge in a breadth of investigative areas ranging from molecular biology and cancer to heart disease, behavioral science and issues of public health.

The School of Nursing offers undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and continuing education programs, along with virtual education opportunities for nursing degrees along with specializations.
The School is dedicated to excellence in nursing education through lifelong learning;compassionate, high-quality care of individuals and communities; and the comprehensive pursuit of knowledge and discovery.
The school's faculty includes nationally and internationally renowned scholars, educators and clinicians dedicated to excellence in the pursuit of knowledge and discovery, the holistic and compassionate care of individuals and communities, and the professional development of each member of the school within a nurturing environment.
Bachelor's and master's degree programs focus on the development of critical thinking and judgment, understanding of health systems and economics, interdisciplinary care, public health and communications in a variety of health care settings. Master's degree programs also prepare students for advanced practice or as public health professionals. Doctoral and postdoctoral programs prepare graduates for scholarly inquiry, independent research, and leadership in the healthcare arena.
