While Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has made it four years in a row at the top of the civil & structural engineering ranking, there are eye-catching climbs up the table for Delft University of Technology (up three places to fourth) and Politecnico di Milano (up five places to ninth).
41 countries are represented in this year’s ranking of the top 200 universities. While some countries have multiple institutions on the list, 11 (including the Netherlands, South Africa and Israel) are represented just once.
