一、7-8月选校与专业，准备材料
在资料的准备上，先要明确需要申请的院校，再去做资历的准备，一般都包括有个人简历以及推荐信这一些，而且需要全部都是英文文件。另外在准备的时候不要有侥幸心理，觉得用两个月时间来准备就足够了，在申请之中是会有很多变化的，为了应对这些变化，学生们就只能是做好各种的准备。
二、8到3月提交并等待结果
注意是在开放申请之后马上就去提交。一般在英国这里，学生申请后需要等4-8周才会出结果。如果学校有要求自己再补充什么条件的，那么就补充提交。在此期间学生们可以努力提升自己的成绩。
一般在9-10月的时间这些学校都开放申请了，所以在此之前学生要把材料都准备好，确定自己能在第一时间提交。因为英国的申请竞争向来都很激烈，所以大家最好是在第一轮就申请。
11-12月的时间第一批申请的学生往往就能得到回执信息，知道自己是被录取还是被拒了。但在这个时候也会有新申请，一般这个阶段的材料审理是比较慢的，所以要耐心的等自己的结果。

Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships

Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships (SSS) is a substantial programme of scholarships, offered on a matched funding basis between the Scottish Government and Scottish Higher Education Institutions. The scheme offers up to 100 awards, each worth £4000. These are towards the tuition fees, for any one year of full time study, on an Undergraduate, Masters or PhD course at any of Scotland’s higher education institutions.
The scholarships are designed to support the promotion of Scotland as a learning nation and a science nation and are therefore targeted at the priority sectors of creative industries, life sciences, technology, financial services and renewable and clean energy .These are available across key priority countries: Canada,China,India,Pakistan,United States of America.
The scholarships are available to students as part of a wider strategy to promote Scotland as a study destination and showcase Scotland’s higher education offering in international markets.
