“读书破万卷”“书到用时方恨少”这个暑假，我们的主要任务是阅读，在阅读中增长知识、开拓眼界、愉悦生活。这个暑假每个孩子至少要读完十本书，学校为大家推荐了五本书，老师为大家推荐一本书，这些作品有对童真的美妙幻想，有对穷人生活的同情、也有对现实和未来的乐观憧憬;有写童心未泯的智者的白日梦，有写海外的风光和奇闻异事，也有写人和动物的美与善，代表了作者较高的艺术创作水准，适合小学高年级儿童阅读。
